The ARE Approach to Testing AI

Add to calendar
New

AI-based applications are everywhere, and it has only made the job of testing them more complex. There are numerous approaches to testing these systems, but one is going to be more relevant than others in the future: the ARE approach, or AI-based, risk-based, and exploratory testing. Raj Subrameyer will discuss how to practice these test techniques. First, he will demystify AI by covering the basics of what deep learning, machine learning, and neural networks really mean, as well as how to train and test AI models and make them learn from real user flows. Then, he will discuss the current challenges with test automation and how AI can help solve these challenges using dynamic locators. After a deep dive into AI, he will take a live application and explain how to do risk-based testing, prioritizing modules for testing based on risks. Finally, he will use the live application to demonstrate structured exploratory testing and show how it fits into your daily testing journey. Through group exercises, live demos, and collaborative learning, you’ll see how AI is influencing software testing, learn how to do risk-based testing and session-based exploratory testing, and discover techniques for testing a new generation of AI-based applications.

NOTE: Attendees will need a laptop with a word processor like MSWord/Open Office installed and a mobile phone/tablet. There are no other pre-requisites.

Key Takeaways:

-Learn how AI is influencing software testing
-Learn how to do Risk Based Testing
-Learn how to do Session Based Exploratory Testing
